I. Blind Spots of Large Vehicles: The Invisible Danger Zones

Due to their large size and complex structure, large vehicles (such as trucks, commercial vehicles, and engineering vehicles) have multiple blind spots that can easily lead to traffic accidents. Below are the common blind spot classifications and their hazardous ranges:

1. Semi-Blind Zones (A/B/C Zones)

Location: On both sides and the rear of the vehicle.

Characteristics: Drivers can partially observe these areas through the side mirrors, but significant risks still exist. The specific range varies with the vehicle size.

2. Full Blind Zones (D/E Zones)

D Zone: Located directly behind the vehicle, this area is completely out of the driver’s view through the side mirrors or direct line of sight. Pedestrians or vehicles entering this zone cannot be detected by the driver.
