Background

As urban public transportation systems continue to evolve, bus transport has become not only a convenient mode of travel but also a sector fraught with management and safety monitoring challenges. Confronted with the growing complexity of traffic conditions and the evolving needs of passengers, bus companies and related authorities are in dire need of more effective management strategies to ensure operational safety and service quality. To meet these requirements, LUVIEW has proposed a 360-degree panoramic intelligent video surveillance solution. This solution aims to comprehensively enhance the safety, transparency, and service level of public transportation operations through technological means.

3. System Introduction

This system synthesizes images from four fisheye lenses outside the vehicle into a seamless panoramic image through software algorithms, and transmits it in real time to the DVD display screen via an AV signal. The greatest innovation of this technology is that users can create custom viewpoints, that is, custom virtual cameras. The system can freely and dynamically switch perspectives, and intelligently emphasize images of different ranges around the vehicle during driving and parking.
