How does school bus camera system work

Usually school bus camera system is composed of 2 rearview cameras, 4 dome cameras, a high-definition monitor and MDVR. The camera can be installed in the front, middle and rear of the bus. These cameras usually equipped with night vision function, and the infrared distance is around 13 meters. The camera supports ICR switching, which can realize day and night monitoring. Working temperature: -20ºC~ 70ºC.

The high-definition monitor matched with the system supports 4 cameras video input and audio input (optional) at the same time. And the image can be flipped up&down, left and right. The 4 channel camera has a trigger control line, which automatically switches when there is a trigger.

The MDVR compresses and decodes the video information collected by the camera, transmits the video data to the video monitoring platform in real time through the wireless network, and monitors the track of the school bus. When the accident happens, the alarm data can be reported to the operation center in real time through the emergency button. MDVR can also compress and store high-definition images in the local hard disk. When the bus arrives at the terminal, the management center staff obtain the video data of the bus operation by replacing the on-board hard disk or downloading wirelessly through Wi-Fi to view the video.
